HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Getting started is easy! The first step is to schedule a $40 Introductory Lesson with one of our trained & certified instructors. The introductory lesson is designed to get you acclimated to the studio, and to give you a feel for what learning to dance is all about. WHAT BENEFITS DO I RECEIVE?

Good dancing is a lifetime investment in confidence- both in our bodies & minds. Beyond this, dancing is a superb physical conditioner, providing fun and exercise without having to workout on a treadmill!

Learning to dance will open up a wonderful new world of community and a thriving year-round social calendar. Being able to dance any time, any place, to any music, on any floor, with any person (particularly your loved one,) is our number one priority.

How long does it take to learn & what is the cost?

The length of your course will depend on how many dances you want to learn and how proficient you wish to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance after your first lesson!

Much like making an investment in your education, your tuition may vary depending on a number of factors; for example, how proficient you want to be, what dances you want to learn, immediate or long-term goals you may have, and your dance schedule. After your $40 Introductory Lesson, your instructor and New Student Director will recommend a program, and answer any questions so you will have the knowledge to make an informed choice about how you'd like to start.

What should we wear to our lessons?

Students will wear a variety of attire from workout wear, to business casual, to jeans & T-shirts. We only ask that you refrain from wearing anything that is overly ripped or stained, pajamas, or anything that is offensive or has obscene phrases & imagery.

Dance shoes are not required on your first visits. Once you decide to make dancing a true hobby, we can discuss options for appropriate dance shoes. Students should wear shoes that they can easily walk in and stay on their feet. Flip-flops, mules, slides, & extremely high heels are a few styles one should avoid.

We do ask that during inclement weather, you bring a change of shoes to the studio so we do not create water, salt, or other debris hazards on the dance floor.
